Gingerbread Cookies (Gluten Free)

My favorite Gluten Free Gingerbread Cookie Recipe! I love to make Thanksgiving Turkeys and Christmas Gingerbread Men (and Ladies)! Works great with low cost gluten free flour from Walmart!

Ingredients
  • 2 cup Flour (Gluten Free) (I have been using Walmart's Great Value GF Flour (lowest price) and it has worked great!)
  • 1/2 tsp Ginger
  • 1/2 tsp Cream of Tartar
  • 1/8 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 cup Butter (cold)
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar (packed)
  • 1/8 tsp Cloves
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup Molasses
Instructions
  1. In large bowl, Combine Flour, Creame of Tartar, Baking Soda, Cloves, Cinnamon, Ginger, and Salt with a whisk
  2. Cut in butter with a pastry knive
  3. In a separate bowl, beat Sugar, Egg, and Molasses
  4. Add wet ingrediants to dry, combine and shape into a ball
  5. Wrap with plastic wrap and chill for at least 1 hour
  6. Roll out to 1/4" thickness and cut into fun shapes! Place on cookie sheet. I like to use a baking sheet on my cookie sheet.
  7. Bake for 12 minutes or until done
