Sumner Crest Winery (Portland, TN)
Sumner Crest Winery is the first Harvest Host we ever visited and has turned out to be our favorite! We love the wine! We love the food! Even more than all that, we love the people that work there, the people that visit and the owner, Tiffany and her whole family!
This winery is located just north of Nashville in Portland, TN. They have great parking areas for even the largest campers and RVs, and even have a power hookup available!
Our favorite wines there are the Pioneer Blush and Orlinda Gold! Alex loves the Chicken Salad (made with wine grapes!) and Tonya really enjoys Carl’s Spicy Pimento Cheese (made in house and if you are really lucky, you might get a chance to meet Carl!)
Make sure to let the staff know that you are friends with the MostTimers as they love to hear when we point folks their way!
We have been back to Sumner Crest Winery many times throughout our travels, but the did something special for our first visit. It happened to be my birthday on the day we were arriving…and apparently ‘someone’ mentioned it to them! When we arrived, they had a special gift waiting for me! It was so special and a great experience for us as we started our RV lives!
