Lettuce Wraps We Make in Our RV Kitchen

Living full-time in our luxury motorhome means we’re always looking for meals that are fresh, flavorful, and easy to prepare in a compact RV kitchen. These lettuce wraps have become one of our favorite go-to meals when we want something light that doesn’t heat up the entire coach.

We’ve prepared this recipe both inside our RV kitchen and outside on our Blackstone griddle when the weather is perfect. It’s quick to cook, easy to clean up, and ideal after a long travel day.

One of the advantages of full-time RV living is discovering fresh produce at local markets along the way. Lettuce wraps are perfect for incorporating whatever seasonal ingredients we find during our travels.

Equipment We Use in Our RV

We prepare these lettuce wraps using:

  • Our RV stovetop or Blackstone griddle
  • A quality chef’s knife
  • A compact cutting board that fits our RV sink
  • Our favorite non-stick skillet

If you’re cooking in a motorhome or travel trailer, meals like this are ideal because they don’t require large pots or long oven times.

RV Cooking Tip

If we’re traveling the next day, we often prepare the filling ahead of time and store it in airtight containers in our RV refrigerator. It reheats quickly and makes for an easy lunch at our next stop.

Meals like this are ideal for full-time RV living because they require minimal cleanup and adapt well to small kitchen storage.
